Life is hard - people often say
In today’s world, everything seems difficult. Being poor is difficult. Being rich is difficult. Being married is difficult, but being single is also difficult. Being overweight is difficult, yet staying fit is even more difficult..
The truth seems to be simple: you must choose your difficulties—otherwise, the difficulties will choose you.
Here is why I want to answer the question: What persistence is.
I found this amusing video on G Plus Animation, enjoy 😂:
Define Success on Your Own Terms
First of all, don’t fall into the trap of becoming a victim. Instead, ask yourself: What does success mean to me? Is it building your own business? Earning more money? Perhaps it’s creating a loving family, helping others, or finding inner peace. Maybe your dream is to make the world a better place, recover your health, or find your perfect partner. It could also be guiding others spiritually or pursuing higher education.
Your goals may change at different stages of life—and that’s perfectly fine. What matters most is the direction you choose. Because all paths, no matter how different, require one thing: becoming a better version of yourself.
The Secret Weapon
Now pause. It’s time to share a secret—a golden key, a victory formula, a guarantee of success:
Persistence. Patience.
Sounds intimidating, doesn’t it? But over time, you’ll realize that persistence is something you already see every morning—in the mirror. What feels hard at first slowly becomes rewarding, natural, and ingrained in your character until you no longer need to think about it.
Where to Start
What if you could find just one rule, one repetitive task, or one habit to polish every single day, as if it were the gem of your existence?
Choose just one habit that aligns with your path. Adjust your schedule, guard that habit fiercely, and never let the chain break.
The 5:00 AM Club

What if you started waking up at 5:00 AM? Yes—people are awake at that time, when the world is silent. And in this silence, you can find yourself.
Imagine this: while most people scroll half-asleep in bed, the winners are already celebrating their first victories of the day. Most people stumble through mornings like they’re facing a technical error—rolling out of bed late, glued to a screen, and instantly in an automatic response mode. The outliers? They treat sunrise as their hidden advantage.
It’s not about the exact hour. It’s about refusing to sit around waiting for life to happen.

Why are mornings so powerful? Because your brain is up to 40% more efficient within 90 minutes of waking. This is when you can focus deeply, free from distractions, calls, or notifications. Your family is asleep, your neighborhood is silent - you are alone with pure focus.
A Transformation Story
For years, Sarah hit snooze three times before dragging herself out of bed. Her mornings were chaos - rushing, skipping breakfast, starting work already stressed.
Then she changed her routine. She set a fixed bedtime, started waking up at 6:00 AM instead of 7:30, and used that extra time to jog and journal. Within two weeks, her life looked different: She felt calmer and healthier She stopped feeling behind all day. She had more energy - and even began enjoying mornings.
Now she says waking up earlier feels like giving herself a gift before the world starts pulling her in different directions.
5:00 AM isn’t magic - it’s just a suggestion. What matters is carving out time for silence, focus, and persistence. One hour for yourself. One hour to win the day.
It is hard at first, but pause here for a second…
Put the memory into reverse gear to back up and think: How many times has hitting snooze helped? Have you felt more awake after that? It was also hard to wake up, wasn't it?
That difficulty was from the outside world. The difficulty had chosen you ... Now you know how to invert it.
Building Your New Identity
What to do with this additional hour, you may ask? Since you know your target, the answer is: create! Your mind is clear, open, and ready for new content.
If you want to feel calmer, start writing a journal - it helps bring harmony to the chaos in your head. If you want to gain knowledge in a particular field, learn. If you want to be healthier, go for a run or exercise (visit a gym—no crowds, my recommendation). You have a multitude of options. Then, start talking to yourself as though you already are the best version of yourself
See yourself as productive, disciplined, and reliable. Speak kindly to yourself - as if your well-being depends on it. It is not only repeating You are the winner stuff.. With words, backed by actions, you create your new identity: trustworthy, disciplined, and unstoppable. Your brain is getting used to it. You’ll still feel temptation, but now you can say: I promised myself I wouldn’t give up. I am strong, determined, and persistent. This is exactly who I am.

The Science Behind Identity Shifting 🧠💫
Your brain has plasticity - it can rewire itself. Neurons form connections through synapses, which strengthen the more they are used. Like practicing violin or learning a new language, repetition makes these pathways stronger. Unused connections weaken, while new ones build your future identity.
Every time you do something difficult you’d rather avoid, you’re training your brain. Just like exercising muscles, repeated effort makes it easier over time.
Athletes know this: what was once hard becomes part of their identity - something they even miss when they have a resting day
You don’t build discipline by doing more. You build it by doing what you emotionally resist. Each time you overcome resistance, you strengthen your brain’s wiring.
Think about it: every time you skip the chocolate bar, avoid endless scrolling, or choose to connect with people instead of hiding away - you’re growing stronger. Growth never happens inside the comfort zone. That means that every time you overcome something challenging, you reach a higher level of persistence.
This message is about persistence - but as you see, persistence is tied to purpose, patience, and willpower.
Motivation alone is unreliable-it’s a deceitful consultant that disappears as quickly as a 30-day free trial. What lasts is persistence.
Persistence is the constant overcoming of personal difficulties to create a new order in the identity, and over time, it naturally becomes more effortless.
Now give yourself a high five; you've already conquered your morning. Today is destined to be beautiful. Celebrate it 🥳
